Q: How can I contact SSI about my print job?
A: You can either go to our Contact Us page, or call between 8 am and 5 pm CST; 712.732.7364

Q: What is the difference between Raster and Vector artwork?
A: Raster artwork is basically made of up a series of small blocks of color. From these small blocks you are able to see the image when they are all put together, side by side. It is important to keep in mind that the larger you blow up a Raster file the larger these blocks of color get.
Vector artwork is made up of a series of mathmatically plotted lines, archs, and points. Rather than small blocks of color, vector art uses these lines to outline shapes and fills to fill them in with the right color. Vector artwork be blown up to any size without becoming distorted.

Q: What is Resolution and what is a good Resolution to work with?
A: Resolution is the number of small block of color make up a Raster file (like stated above). The blocks per inch equals the resolution. So if your file is 72 dpi for your resolution then it is made up of 72 dots per inch.
When it is possible we like to work with atlease a 300 dpi file, but we are capable of generation a good finished product with resolutions as low as 200 dpi.
