Silk Screen Ink Sublimation Artwork Standards
|
| 1.) Choose a Garment Style |
| - 50/50 T |
due to the nature of the sublimation process only 50% of the of the material (polyester) will absorb the dye. This will result in a more subtle print. |
| - 100% Poly T |
this garment will result in the brightest and most vivid print. |
| - 50/50 Burnout T |
this garment will also be a little subtle when printed. For best results, do
not use transparencies on burnout garments. |
| |
| 2.) Layout Guide Lines and How to Place your Artwork |
| - Red Line |
any and all pertinent information must be placed inside this red outlined area. Please note: armpit areas of garment may have creases that will result in white areas. |
| - Gray Line |
this is the outline of the garment (the total size). This is just an approximation of where the edge of the T will be. |
| - Full Bleed Border |
create your layout so it fills the space 1 1/2" around the outside of the gray line. This will result in an all over print when completed. Automatically done when art is placed properly on the 'Place Art Here' layer. |
